Adding Printer after system re-booted.

Why am I unable to install my printer with the Add printer icon after I had to reboot my system? The screen indicates it is unable to locate the driver–I have a cannon printer, an older model—BJC-250.. If possible please respond to me via e-mailrosebush@bigvalley.net
