Adding RAM to my computer

I have 96MB SDRAM on my Dell Intel Celeron Processor.

I want to add 64 MB of RAM because I want my system to run very quickly.

I feel that adding more RAM is the best way to make the applications on your computer run more efficiently…Will adding more RAM affect anything on my computer?

I can install up to 512MB of RAM on my computer.
