ASPs and the Future

Where will the ASP market lead? Outsourcing is becoming an attractive word in all industries. But to what point will computer interface be by dummy terminal? Microsoft has transitioned and is transitioning its company structure to Internet based services such as ASPs. Oracles CEO Ellison?s ultimate goal is to do away with the personal computer. Will the general public be able to handle storing data on hard drives across the web? Or will this never happen? The benefits are numerous for both the enterprise and average consumer, but so are the drawbacks.
