Automatic Shutdown in Windows 2000

by mc_benavidez . Updated 24 years, 9 months ago

I have a Sony Vaio desktop running win 2k prof. I have a 40GB EIDE hdd running NTFS. I added a 15GB EIDE drive and have in running a primary NTFS partition. After configuring that drive, my machine will not shut down automatically. I tried wipingthe partition and reformatting for FAT32, and it still does not work. Both are specified as primary partitions. Is there any way for me to get the automatic shutdown feature up and running? I have applied all required windows critical updates andsp’s 1 and 2, and still am being plagued…Anything would help
