Bad Sectors on Harddrive

Hi it’s me Derek,

Okay I got a harddrive with bad sectors that Windows won’t let me boot up with it. When I booted my PC with another harddrive I found out that I could still see and read the data in the original harddrive. However the harddrive with the prob won’t boot up and while doing the scandisk the scandisk program hanged at about 3% or 17% progress.

Is my harddrive gone? Is there a method where I can windows to ignore the problem. I plan to format taht harddrive and use it to install Windows NT ?
