Basic IT info sources

I’m fairly new to the IT world and would not consider myself a “techie” (yet!). Perhaps a loaded question, but if you have any suggestions on good websites that could give me a good overview on technology and how it all works together, I’d greatly appreciate it. I like Webopedia.com… simple explanations to the gazillion different technology terms. Thanks.
