Ok, well I sent my ‘new’ computer back, and went to go back to my old one, Abit- BX2rev2
I downloaded the most recent BIOS update, and well proceeded to ‘flash’ my bios, but me being the idiot that I am, didnt read the directions carefully enough the first time, and well I messed it up.
so i flashed the EXE file and not the .BIN file, and now my computer WILL NOT BOOT UP.
I am wondering how I can rectify this, I have already learned of 3 options, of which none seem, viable at this time,
1.hot swap my bios from a ‘working’ system, (NOPE),
2. prepare a bootable disk , to auto flash my thing ( wish i could, but my A: drive is not accessing, grr)
3. get ahold of an ISA drive controller, hook my a: drive up to it and repeat 2:, cant find an ISA controller yet, and would like another fix,
can anyone help? (right now my computer will NOT boot, it spins up the harddrives, and everything but doesnt turn monitor on, access a: drive, or anything like that….)
Thanks in advance,
