blackened logo

I do not have the problem with the icons like the one published on 7 of february but i have similar problem when i open a program like outlook express or norton antivirus.And this does not hapen all the time just some time when i open the programs the logo is blackened.Now i have 256MB of RAM,WIN98 and NAV2000.i scan for viruses but no virus!!!
