Blue Screen in Windows ME ???

I recently upgraded from 98se to Me. Now when i try to shutdown or restart i get a blue screen like NT4.0 The blue screen reads like this:

System Haulted.
The only thing i have left to do is turning the pc off and wait at lease ten seconds and turn it back on. I just feel uneasy since something is going to corrupt soon, if i don’t find a solution soon. please help me!
