Bois Problems

I have a PC which was running fine until I installed a new hard drive. It’s a 80Gb Maxtor drive. I ran the software utility that came with it, but it stopped half way through. Now I can’t get the PC to boot. I thought I may have screwed the Bios up,but I can’t update it because I can’t use a floppy disk or CD to change anything as the bootup doesn’t get that far.

Any help would be appreciated.
