boot problem

When I came in this morning I truned on my computer and it would not boot into win98.
I stays at the black screen where it gives you drive info.I tryed using a boot disk and it still stop at the same screen.I took the hard drive out and put it in another computer and the same thing happens even with the boot disk.
6gb hd,300k6 prossor,64 mgs ram,windows 98
