Browser / Modem

Built a new system. When I connect to my ISP the modem dials and connects. But when I select the browser(IE 5.5), it doesn’t find any sites. Worked with ISP tech support and they had me check all the settings, which were correct. There are no driver updates for the modem (Boca WinStorm 56K). Put the modem in my old system and it works fine. I even upgraded my new system to Win ME to see if that would solve the problem, it didn’t. I will try a different slot on motherboard (MSI k7t Pro 2a) AMD Thunderbird 1 Gig.
