<Burning CDs>

I needed a harddrive with win9x on it so I
set up an old motherboard, power supply, h/d,
cd rom, etc… and somehow managed to produce
the sweet smell of burning electronics.

Now my cd will read from dos but not from
windows. It passes amidiag’s cd test under
dos (not dos window) but fails in windows.

Windows will not recognise any data on the
cd, while a fresh boot into ms-dos will allow
me to read the contents.

Any clues?
