Can I Disable the floppy & cd drives?

I would like to know if there is a way to disable floppy and cd drives on our work pc’s. We have Win95,98, WinNT and Win2000 Pro. on our systems. I was thinking there would be a way through the NT policies-user rights or by editing the logon scripts or maybe the registry??? We also use SMS, maybe Security Rights- Permissions can be manipulated. Any advise is welcomed.
