Can you help?

PC: Windows 98, Novell Groupwise 5.5, local Office 97, Dell Dimension XPS T500, 128 MB ram, Excel file strored on Novell 4.2 server. Groupwise runs from remote server, shared files on pc.

Problem: Groupwise open on taskbar, Excel goes erratic – highlights everything, hourglass stays on, have to cntl – alt-del to end Excel. After closing everything, then reopening only Excel – seems to work ok.

Anybody have any ideas or suggestions?
