Under Windows 95, I dial-up to the internet with seemingly no problems; however, when I open a web browser (IE or Netscape) I get a error. IE says DNS — Netscape says invalid network setup or not enough resources. The confusing thing is that the email works ok. In the same way FTP works ok. Only the browser is giving me problems.
I have uninstalled IE, Netscape, and the dial-up networking. After doing that I ran RegClean. Reinstalling the programs did not correct the problem.
I have verified that IE is setup to automatically obtain an IP address. Also, it does not use a proxy. Any other ideas?
