Canon printer problem

ok, I have a Canon BJC 2000 (a simple desk bubblejet printer). When you send a document to this printer, it goes through the motions of printing. You hear the print heads moving and it pulls the paper though, and looks as though everything is working fine. But when the paper comes out of the printer, its blank! Ive done the obvious, replaced the ink cartridges with new ones, ran it through its cleaning cycle and used different types of paper. Im stumped. The “oh so helpful” people at Canon tech support sent me a generic email saying “we’re sorry, try new ink cartridges.” I dont think they even read my email! haha
