Can’t access BIOS….

I have a DELL latitude CPi notebook pc w/ NT4.0. I recently installed a linksys NIC LAN/modem combo card. I used to be able to access my BIOS using “Fn” & “F1(setup)” simutaneously. Now when I try, it causes my system to freeze up, & then it needs to power down to reset. I would like to be able to access my BIOS. Any help out there?
