Can’t access Folder

by digital_dna . Updated 23 years, 9 months ago

I’m Running Windows XP Professional. I’ve semi-successfully networked my desktop and laptop together. I can access all the shared folders under C:\ but for some reason I can’t access one folder within the Documents and Settings sub-directory’s. When I try to access these folders I get the following error “Z:\Documents and Settings\ebcdic is not accessible. Access is denied”. The entire C:\drive is shared and I can access all folders except that one folder within Documents and Settings. Anyone know how I can access these sub-folders over the network?

Please note I’m using a workgroup network with simple file sharing enabled. I believe this has something to do with why I can’t access these sub-folders.

Thanks
