Can’t listen to an audio CD through comp

It’s a general question. There’s a Audio CD (an original one – not burned!) that I can’t listen to using my computer, although in my stereo it sounds perfect! When trying to play it using winamp or other programs there are many tracks that sound scratched, bad quality, many jumps and high pitches etc. What can it be?
