Can’t load malshell.dll modem wont work

Get Can’t load malshell.dll modem wont work properly when I boot up my pc. I had removed my compaq phone center program and it stopped in the middel of removal. My modem works fine so I do not believe this error goes with my 56K Zoom modem. However, I can’t reload my cdrom for my modem because it doesn’t work now. I have tried to load it through start-run and my computer. Won’t let me in get errors. I have searched for this file on the internet and can’t find it either to load in my pc, to stop this blue screen that warns me about my modem not working properly. I have also tried other compaq pc’s and have not found this file to copy to mine either. Any ideas or help would be greatly appreciated.
