For about 3 months now, I have been unable to access certain websites such as the home page at microsoft.com, (I can reach the update page, but if I try to go to any other part of Microsofts’s website, I’m out of luck), symantec.com or any of its counterparts (cannot access the Norton anti-virus update section), familytreemaker.com, angelfire.com and numerous others. I’ve turned cookies on and off and on again, re-installed Windows, checked all the internet settings and even turn ON things that were never ON before, tried turning them back off again too – No luck. At each site I am unable to access, I get the error message “There was no response. The server could be down or is not responding. If you are unable to connect again later, contact the server’s administrator.”
I am sure the problem is not with my ISP because the problem started with my old ISP. I have recently moved and now have a completely different ISP in another state. The same problem exists here in my new location as did in my o
