Cant recognise print drivers on CAD

Hiya, I wanted to know if anyone can help me solve this problem. With one of the CAD software, the printer setup will not recognise the xerox 8830 driver.Now is there a manual way of installing the driver onto the print configuration?We can send jobs to the printer but cannot chose the size of what the printout should be. I can save the print driver from a previous Cad software which works, this is pc2 file but I cannot open it in the Cad software? I hope someone can understand my question and please help?
