Capturing Printer Port on my Own Machine

by lmcdonald . Updated 25 years, 2 months ago

I am running an older DOS program. In the printer setup it only recognizes LPT and COM printer ports. I (the user actually) has just set up a new computer that has only USB ports. This is not a problem for windows but I cannot set up the printer for my DOS program. I can capture our network printer as an LPT port on this computer to print to. How can I capture the local printer on the same machine as an LPT port. I do not know the proper way to put the path in when it asks for it when I am trying to capture it.
