A friend asked me to take a look at his computer because his CDs won’t play in his CD-ROM. When I pull up the CD Player, nothing but the eject button works. I checked the cabling inside the case, which was secure. I also looked in sounds to ensure the mute button wasn’t selected, I checked for any conflicts, but everything seemed fine. Its a Windows 95 with 3x and DOS 6.2 installed, I saw that in Add/Remove Programs. It is an older computer. He said it worked before. I do have my A+ certficate -trying to apply some real world experience to that paper – and would like to solve this problem, but I don’t want to make a mistake since this is his only computer. Any suggestions to what the problem could be? Much Thanks.
