CD-Roms Not being detected on Win 95.

I have a Win 95 machine that doesn’t see the Toshiba DVD drive. Does not have a driver because it is an ATAPI Drive. I also can’t Delete a Second Hard Drive Controler in Device Manager because it is saying that it is a Category group. The DVD was previously detected by the system, but had unattached while working on another hard drive for someone else’s PC (Packard Bell … UGH!). Found a Dos Driver for the DVD, but then it doesn’t find it as a DVD-Rom. Any suggestions.
