CD-RW Problems

I have 12*10*32 CD-RW. For software i am using Roxio platnum. I was running win98 and everything was fine. I upgraded to win2000pro and the software is telling me it doesn’t detect any cd-rw device. I uninstalled the software and reinstalled but no luck. Also the cd-rw is reading disks fine. Any help please!!
