CD writer installation in Windows 2000

I have just purchased an Aopen 1232 cd writer installed as per instructions installed the software and the software does not find the drive and there was no drivers that came with it for any OS and I have been to the manufactures web site. they donthave any drivers on the site for windows 2000 pro
The drivers that windows 200 installed for the drive was cdrom.sys, redbrook.sys, stroprop.dll.
Does anybody know how to setup the CDwriter for windows 2000 pro?
