cdrom won’t read burned cd r/w cd

I have a buslink 16x10x40 usb 2.0 cd r/w, I used incd to format the cd r/w and the buslink cd r/w to copy pictures and files to. When I try to read from my i/o magic cd which is cd r/w compatable It doesn’t read the data. Will I have to update my cdrom drivers? I have nero burning rom as my software.
