CMOS??

I’ve been thinking and trying to find a way to save my CMOS settings in a folder instead of a disk. I was told by someone in my class that there is a way to save your CMOS settings in a folder on the PC instead of on a disk. Does anyone know how to do this or if this can be done at all?
