CMOS CHECKSUM ERROR ?

I have setup a boot password and set the date/time correctly in my bios. However, every time I cold restart, I get the error (plus a couple of beeps) CMOS CHECKSUM ERROR
and I lose whatever changes I have setup in my bios…..any ideas guys?
