CMOS on Sony VAIO PCG-717

A few days ago I started getting CMOS errors. I entered the BIOS Setup Program to reset the settings. I opened pandora’s box when I chose to set the BIOS password, just “to try it”. The “zero” key beeped, but the password was accepted. Now the password fails using the same keystrokes! Imagine that! How do I clear the CMOS so that I can get back into my Sony VAIO PCG-717?
