Collision on my Hub

Here is my system
2 computer (pentium 3)
sharing a DSL (Hight speed home model)
on a Hub (Kamodo 9 ports Hub)
I got collision signal from the Hub, how could I diagnose the problem. Is it a problem ? How dos it affect my connection and how do I fix the problem.
