COM1 is not working with an ndis2.vxd er

bootlog.txt indicates an irq confilict on COM1 with the ndis2.vxd not loading correctly. COM1 is used for a.) cellular modem b.) Cassiopeia docking station c.) Palm Pilot docking station. I guess the question is, “what component is associated with the ndis2.vxd that may have been altered”, so I can reinstall that particuliar component.
