Compaq Presario 7110 video

I have Compaq Presario 7110US with windows ME. When my daughter was using it the screen blacked out. I powered it down from the power button and I could not get any video when I tried to restart it. It actually got it to start up once in safe mode, but once I shut it down to restart in normal mode again nothing on the screen. I suspect a bad video card. Suggestions????
