Computer constantly freezing up.

Even after only using the computer a few minutes it freezes up and I have to apply the CTRL ALT & DEL keys which invariably give me the result of “msgsrv32 not responding.” Sometimes it even takes me about 6 minutes to shut down.
Any solutions?
