Computer is Frozen

I was installing the demo for webcam32 then it reboot the system to complete the installation…my problem is that it never came up again, it freezes up as soon as it displays the splash screen “COMPAQ”. I can’t even boot from the a: drive using a boot disk because the system didn’t load the drives…any ideas as to what I can do to get my system back up and running…
