Computer Needs for Small Business

I am a computer tutor (MS Desktop Applications) and have been asked to give a talk to a group about what they NEED to know about a computer to survive. Any good sites that discuss what is really needed – this should NOT be technical, but basic You Need to Have and Need to Know in order to survive in small business world today.
