Converting Dual Boot OS to Single OS

Here’s my question. I have two PCs with Win 9x and NT 4. One is Fat 16 as best I can tell from FDisk, the other is Fat 32. They both use logical drive partitions and have been set up for two virtual drives on each OS. I wonder if I can remove NT alone without having to reformat and reinstall and reconfigure? I’ve never had to do this before. Both these machines are nodes on a netbeui network.
