I have purchased a 4.3 GB Seagate HDD to replace my existing 2.1 GB HDD. I formatted the new drive and installed it as the Primary slave to the old HDD. In Windows 95 I have copied all the files and directories except the Windows directory from the old CDrive to the new D drive. I then installed Windows95 on the new HDD as the Primary master. When I boot from the new HDD it boots into Windows, but when I try to access my applications (Office97 etc.) the applications look for .dll and .vbx filesresidingin the C:\Windows\System folder i.e. vbrun300.dll and cstext.vbx etc ,even though all files were apparently copied. I then decided to keep the old HDD as Primary master (C drive) and install the new HDD as the Secondary slave (partitioned D and E drives).Now for the interesting part, when I accessed the C and D drive, I found them to be mirror images of each other.
