CorelDRAW 9 is very slow

Installed CorelDRAW 9 on a machine with 256MB
of RAM and it runs extremely slow. Even when
just resizing an image it takes a really long
time to redraw the image. Doing the same
exact thing within 8 takes atleast half the
time. Is there anything that can be done
about this, or is it just that the program is
extremely Bloated?
