CPU Core Power beyond limit

that is the error i get on a POST on a clients machine. i am unable to set the BIOS high enough 2.3 – 3.92 on the settings allowed while the BIOS shows the CPU power currently at 3.48 – 3.50 Will this cook the CPU? I can set the error to not show and the system does boot and perform seeminly ok. any light appreciated. cheers ZedB
