I tried posting this once before. I have more info now, so I will try again….
I work for an organization that takes in donated PC’s in order to refurbish them for return to underprivileged communities. We recently received a stock of old Aquanta DL series 2 machines (CWP 50034). They have LAN NIC’s installed + the on-board LAN. We would like to remove the installed NIC’s and use the on-board LAN. This is where the problem is. We can not get the on-board LAN to enable and work. No jumpers on the motherboard. Nothing in BIOS. All current drivers for Crystal CS8900/CS8920 installed. No conflicts. All other network adapters removed.
Under properties it says “This device is either not present, not working properly, or does not have all the drivers installed. (code 10)”. What could we be missing? Any suggestions would be great. Thanks!
