I recently reformatted and clean reinstalled win 98SE. I made no other changes to my system, though I did reinstall Power Deskand other apps. Anyway that won’t help us.
Every 3 or 4 seconds my curser hourglasses. And when I’m scrolling in power desk (Not win explorer) the display refreshes back to the highlighted file/folder.
There are no apparent IRQ conflicts.
2 oddities I’m getting small processor usage peaks and read peaks.
Also, the reticles in a game I play are not displaying properly, I’m getting pointer hourglass stuff with a square cutout with a section of picture, of what, I can’t identify…perhaps the screen behind the game.(though this may be unrelated, I need to look at the game setups)
Not much I can think of to do. I’ve manually boosted the virtual memory and have 384MB RAM
