Cyrix CPU

Has anyone used or servived a Cyrix CPU. I ordered (off the Net) Some CPU’s for a job. After install (all went well) I had on ASUS board with fan and CPU alarms, and the fan alarm kept going off. I checked temperature and found temp VERY low for that speed CPU. I later pulled one of them and it said VIA on top. I checked order # against catalog and found I had gotten Cyrix instead of Celeron. They work VERY well, but run VERY cool and use very little power for their speed. On the net Ifound that they are Green CPU’s. I don’t know what the long term history will be. Any comments?? To date I am pleased with my mistake.
