An old hard disk has information on it I need, but the partition (DOS, 32 bit FAT) is unaccessable. This drive failed before and the cause was a corrupt sector on the MBR.
The drive displays the same problem as before, it fails the bootup processafter a lengthy delay. The drive is partitioned into two drives, and the second partition is accessable. Norton does not detect any errors on the second partition.
Does anyone know of any tool or procedure that will allow me to access the C: partition, without wiping the data it contains?
