Data-Porting

My client has HP CAD machines running UNIX or HP’s variation of it. They want me to replace these old machines with Intel P-III-based workstations running under NT. They also want me to take care of the porting / migration of entire data currently on the hard drives to the new large hard drives. How do I go about it in the most elegant, efficient & foolproof way?
