Help;
I have information on a floppy disk that absolutly must be recovered. The floppy disk is inaccessable. I can’t even copy the disk. I just finished running ScanDisk and got the following message’s:
ScanDisk could not properly read fromor write to cluster 27, which contains some or all of the A:OTFL file. The contents of this cluster are probably already lost.
In addition to the above error, the scan stalls with a error at sector 13, Cluster 120 and 156. When the scan completes I get the following “3,072 bytes in bad sectors” among other information.
Anyone know how I can fix this problem short of sending it to a data recovery expert? Perhaps theres a program on the market (better then scandisk) I can use to repair the disk?
EBCDIC
P.S. I already tried Norton Utilities Scandisk as well. No luck.
