I hope this is an easy question. So easy that I am just overlooking the obvious. One of my computers runs windows ME with Internet Explorer 6.0. In the settings for IE I have set the preference to “Always dial the Default Connection”. Yet ever time I shut down the comp and restart the default always goes back to “Never make a Connection”. I have gone through all of the IE settings and compaired with other computers that work fine. I have deleted all of the old Earthlink files using add/remove programs, thinking some of the settings there were in conflict somehow. I have looked and studied all my applications and can’t find anything I think would cause this to change each time. So, each time I want this compuiter online I have to openthe Control panel and Internet options change this default setting and then it is fine the rest of the time this computer is on.
Any input would be very helpful this is not a criticle problem just a hugh irritant and inconvience. Thanks
