delay in Exchange 5.5 primary user

When migrating users from ccmail to exchange, we have found that there is a delay before changes to the primary user in exchange admin. It seems the user can’t login at first. Then after a period (more than 20 min.) it seems okay. Is there any way to ‘refresh’ whatever needs refreshing?
